About the Author
Sandy is a Nurse Practitioner in Palliative Care for Four Seasons in Sylva, NC. She moved to Western North Carolina in the spring of 2017 after spending most of her life in Gainesville, Florida. She loves hiking and fly fishing and is the mother of 5 adult children and 8 grandchildren under the age of 8. She resides in Western North Carolina with her partner Mike Hodge, a fly fishing instructor and guide at the Tuckasegee Fly Shop.
