About the Author

Sandra is a Family Nurse Practitioner in Primary Care in Sylva, NC. She moved to Western North Carolina in the spring of 2017 after spending most of her life in Gainesville, Florida. She loves hiking and fly fishing, and is the mother of 5 adult children and 8 grandchildren under 10 years old. She resides in Western North Carolina with her husband Mike Hodge, a fly fishing instructor and guide at the Tuckasegee Fly Shop.
